Back when we were expecting, we co-opted a Music Night into a two-for-one party: Mr. Good Snob's 35th was an important milestone, but our littlest-of-party members was so much on our minds that we wanted to put her front and center.
That's right, "her". This was the moment we chose to exclaim: We're having a baby girl!
So to celebrate our bun while simultaneously letting the birthday boy indulge in his DJ fantasy, we curated an all-female program that did its best to evoke girl power and all the major periods of a woman's life.
We start with the curiosity of a child's first adventures, followed by its fun-loving but tumultous teens. Soon enough our girl is feeling self-assured and confident as a romancing 20-something, and then a fully-formed woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. Finally, we indulge in the pearls of wisdom That cone with older age.
